Desire Movie 2011

Laurent Bouhnik's Story of Desire (2011) is a romantic drama film/movie that explores the complex and often contradictory emotions that arise from human relationships. The plot revolves on four individuals who are linked by a web of desire, jealousy, betrayal, and forgiveness. Lee Chang-dong, noted for his realistic and subtle representation of human drama, directed the film.

The film told the narrative of Nathalie (Déborah Révy), a young Parisian lady who is fighting to find purpose in her life. Her relationship with her partner is stale, and her job at a record shop is unfulfilling.

In film opens with Mi-rae (Kim Min-hee), a young lady working as a cashier at a supermarket. She is married to Sang-ho (played by Lee Sun-kyun), a busy and distant police officer. Mi-rae is lonely and bored in her marriage, and she develops feelings for Jae-hoon (played by Yoo Ah-in), an attractive and gregarious grocery client.

Jae-hoon is also married to Soo-jin (Jeon Do-yeon), a prominent and exquisite fashion magazine editor. Soo-jin appears to possess everything Mi-rae lacks, yet she is also unhappy and unsatisfied with her marriage. She believes Jae-hoon is having an affair, but she avoids confronting him.

Mi-rae decides to follow Jae-hoon out of the grocery one day. He lives in the same flat complex as she does, but in a different building. She also notices him in the car with Soo-jin. She is envious and intrigued about their connection, so she begins spying on them from her window.

Mi-rae also attempts to approach Jae-hoon by sending him texts and calling him. Jae-hoon first rejects her approaches, but soon succumbs to his desire and begins an affair with Mi-rae. Desire Movie 2011

Meanwhile, Sang-ho gets suspicious of Mi-actions rae's and begins to look into her phone records. He discovers that she has been contacting Jae-hoon on a regular basis and confronts her about it. Sang-ho does not trust Mi-rae when she denies having an affair. He resolves to track down and confront Jae-hoon as well. He discovers where he works and follows him home.

Sang-ho arrives at the apartment complex where Jae-hoon and Soo-jin reside. He notices Jae-hoon entering his building, with Mi-rae quietly trailing after him and he also notices Soo-jin leaving her building, holding a suitcase. Soo-jin is stunned and enraged by Sang-disclosure, ho's but she decides to accompany him. They enter Jae-building hoon's and noisily bang on his door. From inside his apartment, where he is having sex with Mi-rae on his couch, Jae-hoon hears the knocking. He hastily gets up and puts on his clothes, ordering Mi-rae to hide in the toilet.
